Our Mission
Our mission is to get families and children into the outdoors. We believe if we can get kids and families into the outdoors, they will become better stewards of the land. We do this through conservation, serving, and advocating.
Pinnacle Partners of the Carolinas, Inc. has had the opportunity to acquire some of the most remote and desirable outdoor locations in the area. Over the past several decades we have been acquiring and preparing these sites to be shared with you.
Jocassee Point is one of the campsites managed by Pinnacle Partners of the Carolinas, a 501C3 Charitable Nonprofit based in the Upstate of South Carolina. By participating in Jocassee Point, you are making a difference in the life’s of families and children locally.

Our time at The Point on Lake Jocassee was unreal. Our hosts were fantastic! The scenery and seclusion were unlike any other place we’ve ever been. We enjoyed delicious food, breathtaking sunrises, and endless fun on the edge of Lake Jocassee. We can’t wait to book again and would highly recommend taking a team, family, youth, or group of friends to enjoy creation in a way unlike any other. We spent a weekend at The Point. It was a wonderful, relaxing, recharging weekend. The Yurts was clean and very comfortable. We actually saw the eclipse of the moon from the Yurt. It was such a blessing. The beauty of the landscape left us in awe. It truly is a place take we would love to visit again.

Our trip to “The Point” was absolutely amazing! It is a beautiful place on Lake Jocassee with an awesome view! The Yurts are something to see-very comfortable and beautifully designed! The Point was a great place to go to unplug and get “off the grid” for a bit and to recharge, relax,and reconnect with family and friends! The food there is beyond amazing and the host family is phenomenal! They are excellent cooks, well versed in guiding hikes, kayak tours, and know the area very well! We cherish our time spent with them and their family! They are truly a bonus feature to the beautiful property at “The Point”. Our family loves going to “The Point” and it is an experience unlike any other!
